Description

Located on the west side of Devonshire Place in downtown Toronto, the focal point of the 185,000 sq. ft. University of Toronto Goldring Centre is the 2,000 seat world-class field house. It also incorporates a training facility that includes two practice courts and a feature court built to international basketball (FIBA) and volleyball standards (FIVB). The building, consisting of four storeys above grade and three stories below-grade areas features a large open space at the entrance that spans multiple floors, as well as a tiered strength and conditioning space overlooking the University of Toronto Varsity Stadium. The Insight Team was responsible for the pursuit, design, and initial construction oversight.
