This 180,000 sq. ft. office building has five storeys of space for Maple Leaf’s business functions situated in the commercial heartland of Mississauga. The Insight Team was responsible for the pursuit, design and construction oversight.
The project is designed using Class “A” mechanical systems, achieving extremely high energy efficiency at price levels similar to typical suburban office space.
A central water cooled chiller provides chilled water to VAV compartment units on each floor, and central boilers serve perimeter heating needs.
Low-flow plumbing fixtures to reduce water consumption.
Demand controlled ventilation based on occupant load is integral to conserve energy under partial occupancy conditions.
Fan-powered boxes help create superior indoor air quality by providing consistent fresh air, and at the same time reducing net energy consumption.
