The Faculty of Applied Health and Community Studies commissioned the construction of these teaching labs to provide a State-of-the-Art facility for their students. An Athletic Therapy Centre with a therapy pool, Human Performance Lab, the Exercise Institute and Research Centre, and a Human Anatomy Lab are housed in 10,000 of the 84,000 sq. ft. this 4 story structure. An 8,000 sq. ft. Nursing Lab that has three nursing pods with 24 hospital beds forms part of the use of the building along with a Pharmacy Lab teaching hospital processes. Offices, classrooms of the auditorium type, and open study areas round out the complement of space resources built here.
